Project Overview
In early 2026, 3D Praxis Studio was approached by a client looking to visualize a modern barn cabin with expansive glass walls. The project was set in a picturesque rural landscape, aiming to blend contemporary architecture with the natural surroundings. The client, an architect based in the UK, wanted to showcase the cabin’s unique design features, emphasizing the harmony between the structure and its environment.
The project was assigned to Amit, a senior 3D artist with over eight years of experience in architectural visualization. Amit collaborated closely with the client to understand their vision and ensure that every detail was accurately represented. The team utilized a combination of 3ds Max and V-Ray to create photorealistic renders that highlighted the cabin’s sleek lines and the interplay of light and shadow throughout the day.
As the project progressed, the team faced the challenge of capturing the essence of the cabin’s interior spaces while maintaining a strong connection to the exterior. The use of large glass panels was a focal point, allowing natural light to flood the interiors and providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The final renders aimed to evoke a sense of tranquility and modern living, making the cabin an appealing option for potential buyers.
Technical Approach
To achieve the desired realism, the team employed a meticulous approach to lighting and materials. Amit focused on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere by using a combination of natural and artificial lighting. The glass walls were rendered with a high level of detail, showcasing reflections and refractions that added depth to the visuals. The team also utilized ForestPack to populate the surrounding area with realistic vegetation, enhancing the overall setting.
The Result
The final renders successfully captured the essence of the modern barn cabin, showcasing its unique design and integration with the landscape. The client was pleased with the outcome, stating that the visuals exceeded their expectations and would significantly aid in their marketing efforts.

Project Overview
When the luxury home designer engaged us for Modern Barn Cabin Glass Wall, they were clear about the deliverables: 2 high-resolution exterior views that could serve double duty — design review today, sales collateral tomorrow.

The Challenge
The biggest hurdle was fidelity at scale. With 2 compositions to produce, we couldn’t afford to let quality drift between the first render and the last. Every image needed to feel like it came from the same visual universe.
Getting the materials right was non-negotiable. The luxury home designer had specific finishes in mind, and anything that read as ‘generic CG’ would undermine the credibility of the entire package.
Our Approach
We ran the first round of test renders at reduced resolution to get quick feedback on composition, materials, and overall mood. This let us catch issues early when changes were cheap, not late when they weren’t.
The rendering pipeline was set up to handle 2 outputs efficiently. Shared lighting rigs, consistent material libraries, and a standardised colour pipeline meant every image maintained the same visual standard.
Feedback cycles were structured. We presented renders in context — placed into the marketing layout or presentation deck — so the luxury home designer could evaluate them as their audience would see them, not as isolated files on a white background.
The Result
We wrapped production within 1-2 weeks, delivering 2 final renders optimised for both digital and print. The hero shot leads the project’s marketing, and the gallery views round out the full story.
