Project Overview
In 2026, 3D Praxis Studio was commissioned to create a series of exterior visualizations for the BB Adams Coastal Townhomes, a luxury residential development located along the picturesque coastline. The project aimed to showcase the townhomes’ elegant design while highlighting their integration with the surrounding natural environment. The client, a prominent real estate developer, sought high-quality 3D renders to aid in marketing efforts and to attract potential buyers.
The project was led by Ketan, a mid-level artist with a keen eye for detail and a passion for architectural storytelling. Ketan collaborated closely with the client to understand their vision and the unique features of the townhomes. The team worked diligently to ensure that the renders captured the essence of coastal living, emphasizing the balance between modern architecture and the serene landscape.
Throughout the project, the team utilized a variety of tools, including 3ds Max and V-Ray, to create photorealistic images that accurately represented the materials and textures used in the construction. The final deliverables included multiple exterior views that showcased the townhomes at different times of the day, allowing potential buyers to visualize their future living experience.
Technical Approach
To achieve the desired realism in the renders, the team focused on the use of natural lighting and detailed material textures. The team employed V-Ray’s advanced material editor to create a custom shader that mimicked the subtle variations in color and texture found in real wood.
