A coursed-stone country house with pale dressed surrounds and a tiled roof, rendered at late-afternoon light
For the scheme you are pitching

Will your intent survive
the render? Find out on
your own materials.

Send one plan or elevation. Within 48 hours we send back a single test view in the palette you name. No call, no brief to fill in. Just the one question a render should answer first: does it still look like what you drew?

Why a test, not a pitch

A portfolio shows what we did for someone else. This shows what we would do to yours.

Every studio shows you finished work. It tells you very little about the thing you are actually worried about: whether someone will take a considered material decision and flatten it into "brick-ish" and "wood-ish".

So skip the portfolio read-through. Give us one drawing and the materials, and judge the result against your own intent. If it is wrong, you have lost a reply. If it is right, you have found a collaborator.

How it works

Three small steps. The first one is a reply.

  1. Send one drawing

A plan or an elevation from a scheme you are pitching. A PDF, a CAD export or a link is fine. It does not need to be tidy.

  2. Tell us the palette

A line is enough: the materials you have specified or are weighing. Brick, zinc, board-formed concrete, whatever the drawing is meant to be.

  3. We return one view

Within 48 hours, one test view held to your drawing and your materials. No call to book, no form beyond the reply.

What "held to the palette" looks like

Three real Praxis renders, three very different material sets.

These are finished Praxis projects, shown for how materials are handled. They are not test views of anyone's scheme. Look at where one surface stops and the next begins.

What we hold to

Your drawing leads. We follow it.

The honest answers
Is it actually free?

Yes. One test view of one scheme, no fee, no card, no retainer. If you want to go further we will quote it separately and you can say no.

Do I have to get on a call?

No. The whole exchange is a reply with a file or a link, and a reply with the view.

What if the scheme is confidential?

Send it as it is. We do not publish or reuse your scheme or the test view without your explicit say-so.

What if I only have a plan, not an elevation?

A plan is enough to start. Tell us which side or space you want seen and the palette, and we will say plainly what we are assuming.

What if my palette is not decided yet?

Send the two options you are torn between and say which you want first. The test is more useful when it answers a real question.

One drawing. Your materials. One view back.

Reply with the plan or elevation and the palette, as a file or a link. We will take it from there.
