Nadia Cornelissen Villa

Modern Villa Visualization

3D exterior rendering of a modern single-family villa with stacked stone cladding, flat roof, carport, and contemporary landscaping.

Project Overview

This single-family home project in Chicago, IL arrived with ambition. Nadia Cornelissen Villa needed 2 photorealistic exterior views covering everything from hero marketing shots to detailed design-review angles.

Modern single-family villa with stacked stone cladding, flat roof, carport with luxury cars, and mailbox showing number 39.

The Challenge

The timeline was compressed. The real estate developer had a launch date that wasn’t moving, which meant our production schedule had zero slack for extended revision cycles.

At 2 deliverables, there’s a real risk of redundancy — views that look too similar or don’t add new information. We planned the camera positions deliberately so every image earned its place in the set.

Our Approach

Camera positions were planned, not improvised. We mapped out rear-elevation, front-elevation angles based on the project’s strongest design moments, then refined framing through a series of grey-shaded test renders before committing to final production.

We started where we always start: with the drawings. Every wall thickness, every material notation, every site boundary got translated into the 3D model before we touched a single texture or light.

We leaned on physically-based rendering throughout. Every material — glass, stone, metal, timber — was defined by real-world optical properties. That’s what makes the difference between a render that looks ‘nice’ and one that looks true.

The Result

The full set of 2 renders was delivered within 1-2 weeks. Hero images went out first for early marketing, with the complete gallery following shortly after for the project website and brochure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you capture the texture and depth of stacked stone cladding in exterior renderings?

We use high-resolution PBR material scans and custom displacement mapping to reproduce the natural variation in stone coursing, mortar joints, and surface weathering so the cladding reads authentically at every viewing distance.

What details are typically included in a single-family villa exterior visualization?

A complete exterior rendering covers the architectural envelope, landscaping, driveway finishes, carport or garage context, street-level elements like mailboxes and lighting fixtures, and lifestyle props such as vehicles to communicate the home's market positioning.

What is the typical turnaround for a residential exterior rendering package like this villa project?

A single-family exterior package with two to three final camera angles is typically delivered within 5–7 business days from receipt of the 3D model or construction drawings, including one round of revisions.

How do real estate developers use renders like the Nadia Cornelissen Villa for pre-sales?

Developers embed these renderings in listing brochures, project websites, and investor decks to convey design intent and finish quality before construction begins, which accelerates buyer commitment and financing approvals.

What makes single-family exterior visualization different from multi-family or commercial projects?

Single-family exteriors demand a tighter, street-level perspective that emphasizes individual material choices, entry sequences, and curb appeal rather than massing or urban context, so every detail from the flat roofline to the carport proportions must be pixel-precise.
