Christian Cherry Beauty Supply

Modern Commercial Beauty Supply Store Visualization

3D rendering of the Christian Cherry Beauty Supply retail showroom interiors, featuring modern materials and efficient layout for a retail environment.

Project Overview

This retail interior project in Edinburgh, UK arrived with ambition. Christian Cherry Beauty Supply needed 2 photorealistic visualizations covering everything from hero marketing shots to detailed design-review angles.

Same beauty supply store as ‘Christian Cherry’ file but with Praxis Studio watermark/logo in bottom-left corner and a semi-transparent watermark in center.

The Challenge

The project site has strong character — mature trees, sloping terrain, established neighbours. Ignoring that context would have produced renders that felt disconnected from reality. We had to model the environment as carefully as the building itself.

The biggest hurdle was fidelity at scale. With 2 compositions to produce, we couldn’t afford to let quality drift between the first render and the last. Every image needed to feel like it came from the same visual universe.

Our Approach

Camera positions were planned, not improvised. We mapped out one-point perspective (central aisle) angles based on the project’s strongest design moments, then refined framing through a series of grey-shaded test renders before committing to final production.

Feedback cycles were structured. We presented renders in context — placed into the marketing layout or presentation deck — so the retail brand could evaluate them as their audience would see them, not as isolated files on a white background.

Landscape and entourage came last but mattered enormously. Trees, people, vehicles, sky — these contextual elements are what make a render feel like a photograph instead of a diagram.

The Result

The full set of 2 renders was delivered within 1-2 weeks. Hero images went out first for early marketing, with the complete gallery following shortly after for the project website and brochure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you capture the lighting dynamics of a retail showroom with dark slatwall shelving?

We carefully balance ambient and accent lighting in the 3D scene to replicate how spotlights and display LEDs interact with dark slatwall surfaces, ensuring product areas remain bright and inviting while the shelving creates a premium backdrop.

What makes beauty supply store visualizations different from other retail interior renders?

Beauty retail spaces require meticulous attention to product density, glass counter reflections, and cosmetics packaging detail — the sheer variety of small items on display demands a level of micro-detail that standard retail renders don't typically require.

What is the typical turnaround for a retail showroom interior visualization like this?

A single-view retail showroom render like this is typically delivered within 5-7 business days from receipt of the approved layout, with revisions completed within 24-48 hours.

How do retail brand owners use these showroom renders before build-out?

Brand owners and retail designers use these visualizations to finalize fixture layouts, validate merchandising strategies with stakeholders, and secure landlord or investor approval before committing to physical fit-out costs.

Can you visualize a central-aisle retail layout to test different shelving and display configurations?

Yes, we routinely produce configuration variants from the same base model so clients can compare shelving heights, aisle widths, and counter placements side by side before locking in the final store design.
