Project Overview
In early 2026, 3D Praxis Studio was approached by a client looking to visualize a residential living space in Buckingham, specifically an open-plan townhouse. The project aimed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that would appeal to potential buyers. The client provided a basic layout and design concept, and the team was tasked with bringing this vision to life through high-quality 3D renders.
Ravi, a senior 3D artist with over a decade of experience, led the project. He collaborated closely with the client to understand their needs and preferences. The team conducted a series of discussions to refine the design elements, focusing on how to best showcase the open-plan layout. The goal was to highlight the seamless flow between the living, dining, and kitchen areas while ensuring that each space felt distinct yet connected.
The studio utilized a combination of advanced software tools, including 3ds Max and V-Ray, to create photorealistic visuals. The project involved several iterations, with the team incorporating client feedback at each stage. The final renders not only showcased the spatial dynamics of the townhouse but also emphasized the use of natural light, enhancing the overall ambiance of the living spaces.
Technical Approach
To achieve the desired look, the team employed V-Ray’s advanced lighting features, focusing on natural light simulation.
