In 2026, 3D Praxis Studio was commissioned to create a series of exterior visualizations for a luxury residential estate featuring a white stucco Mediterranean design. The project was initiated by a prominent architect based in the UK, who sought to convey the elegance and charm of Mediterranean architecture to potential buyers. The estate, set against a backdrop of lush greenery and azure skies, was designed to reflect a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort.
The team, led by senior artist Ravi, collaborated closely with the architect to ensure that every detail was captured accurately. This involved multiple rounds of feedback and adjustments, as the client wanted to highlight specific architectural features such as the arched doorways and intricate tile work. The project timeline was tight, but the team managed to deliver high-quality renders that met the client’s expectations.
Throughout the process, the team utilized their extensive experience in architectural visualization, drawing from a portfolio of over 660 projects since the studio’s founding in 2010. Each member contributed their unique skills, ensuring that the final output was not only visually appealing but also aligned with the architectural intent. Technical Approach
To achieve the desired photorealistic effect, the team employed 3ds Max and V-Ray for rendering, focusing on the materials and lighting setup. A key technical detail was the use of a daylight system that simulated natural sunlight, which helped to create soft shadows and enhance the texture of the white stucco. The camera was strategically positioned to capture the estate’s grandeur while also showcasing the surrounding landscape, ensuring a balanced composition.
