Project Overview
In 2026, 3D Praxis Studio was commissioned to create a series of exterior visualizations for a luxury neoclassical mansion, referred to as Project 92. The client, an architect based in the UK, sought to present their vision for a residential property that harmonized classical architectural elements with modern living. The project required a keen understanding of both the aesthetic and functional aspects of luxury residential design.
The studio’s team, led by senior artist Ravi, collaborated closely with the client to ensure that every detail was meticulously captured. The mansion featured grand columns, intricate moldings, and expansive windows that invited natural light into the living spaces. The team conducted several discussions to align on the color palette and landscaping, which included lush gardens and elegant pathways that complemented the mansion’s grandeur.
Throughout the project, the team utilized their extensive experience, having completed over 660 projects since the studio’s founding in 2010. This particular project was a routine yet fulfilling task, allowing the team to apply their skills in a familiar architectural style while also exploring new rendering techniques to enhance the visual appeal. The collaboration with the client was smooth, and the feedback received was constructive, leading to a final product that met the client’s expectations.
Technical Approach
To achieve the desired realism in the renderings, the team employed 3ds Max and V-Ray for the modeling and rendering processes. A notable technical detail was the use of HDRI lighting to simulate natural sunlight, which added depth and warmth to the exterior views. The team also focused on the material properties of the mansion’s façade, utilizing a custom texture for the stonework that mimicked the look of aged limestone. This attention to detail helped convey the timeless elegance of the neoclassical design.

The final visualizations successfully showcased the mansion’s architectural beauty and the surrounding landscape, providing the client with compelling imagery for their presentation.
