Project Overview
Project 53 Small Grey Bungalow is a luxury home project in New York, NY where the design speaks through its details. The boutique architecture firm asked us for 2 views that would let those details do the talking.

The Challenge
Getting the materials right was non-negotiable. The boutique architecture firm had specific finishes in mind, and anything that read as ‘generic CG’ would undermine the credibility of the entire package.
One of the trickier aspects was environmental context. A building doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and placing this luxury home design convincingly into its New York, NY surroundings required careful attention to vegetation, street furniture, lighting conditions, and neighbouring structures.
Our Approach
The modelling phase was methodical. We built the geometry from the architectural plans, cross-referencing elevations and sections to catch anything that might read differently in three dimensions than it does on paper.
The rendering pipeline was set up to handle 2 outputs efficiently. Shared lighting rigs, consistent material libraries, and a standardised colour pipeline meant every image maintained the same visual standard.
Camera positions were planned, not improvised. We mapped out rear-elevation angles based on the project’s strongest design moments, then refined framing through a series of grey-shaded test renders before committing to final production.
The Result
The 2 renders were handed over within 1-2 weeks — each optimised for its intended use, from large-format print to responsive web display.
