Project Overview

The residential architect came to us mid-design with Modern Farmhouse White Stone, a luxury home project in Asheville, NC. They needed 2 images that could work for client presentations now and marketing materials later.

The Challenge

The timeline was compressed. The residential architect had a launch date that wasn’t moving, which meant our production schedule had zero slack for extended revision cycles.

Getting the materials right was non-negotiable. The residential architect had specific finishes in mind, and anything that read as ‘generic CG’ would undermine the credibility of the entire package.

Our Approach

Lighting development ran parallel to the modelling. We tested multiple Midday setups early — before the geometry was even finished — so we could lock in the mood and atmosphere without burning production time later.

Landscape and entourage came last but mattered enormously. Trees, people, vehicles, sky — these contextual elements are what make a render feel like a photograph instead of a diagram.

We started where we always start: with the drawings. Every wall thickness, every material notation, every site boundary got translated into the 3D model before we touched a single texture or light.

The Result

All 2 images were delivered on schedule within 1-2 weeks. The residential architect has used the package across their website, printed materials, and investor presentations.
