Project Overview

The scope for Hyde Park Bungalow was substantial — 2 visualizations for a luxury home project that the custom home builder was preparing to take public. Every image had a purpose, from investor decks to the project website.

The Challenge

One of the trickier aspects was environmental context. A building doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and placing this luxury home design convincingly into its Denver, CO surroundings required careful attention to vegetation, street furniture, lighting conditions, and neighbouring structures.

Lighting was the quiet challenge here. The custom home builder wanted Daytime, Golden Hour conditions, and getting those to look natural — not staged, not oversaturated — is where a lot of archviz falls flat.

Our Approach

We ran the first round of test renders at reduced resolution to get quick feedback on composition, materials, and overall mood. This let us catch issues early when changes were cheap, not late when they weren’t.

Landscape and entourage came last but mattered enormously. Trees, people, vehicles, sky — these contextual elements are what make a render feel like a photograph instead of a diagram.

Camera positions were planned, not improvised. We mapped out eye-level angles based on the project’s strongest design moments, then refined framing through a series of grey-shaded test renders before committing to final production.

The Result

Production closed within 1-2 weeks. The hero image is now the signature visual for Hyde Park Bungalow, and the supporting gallery views have been deployed across the custom home builder’s marketing channels.
