Frini Towers

Classical Modern High Rise Towers Visualization

3D aerial render of twin high-rise towers at dusk with warm interior illumination, ornate stone-clad facades with pointed tower caps, circular entry drive with landscaping, urban context with surrounding buildings visible, dramatic lighting.

Project Overview

Frini Towers is a commercial project in Amsterdam, Netherlands where the design speaks through its details. The commercial real estate developer asked us for 2 views that would let those details do the talking.

The Challenge

One of the trickier aspects was environmental context. A building doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and placing this commercial design convincingly into its Amsterdam, Netherlands surroundings required careful attention to vegetation, street furniture, lighting conditions, and neighbouring structures.

The design was still evolving when we started. We had to build a model flexible enough to absorb changes mid-stream without derailing the production schedule.

Our Approach

Lighting development ran parallel to the modelling. We tested multiple Daytime, Dusk / Twilight setups early — before the geometry was even finished — so we could lock in the mood and atmosphere without burning production time later.

Camera positions were planned, not improvised. We mapped out eye-level, birds-eye angles based on the project’s strongest design moments, then refined framing through a series of grey-shaded test renders before committing to final production.

We leaned on physically-based rendering throughout. Every material — glass, stone, metal, timber — was defined by real-world optical properties. That’s what makes the difference between a render that looks ‘nice’ and one that looks true.

The Result

We wrapped production within 1-2 weeks, delivering 2 final renders optimised for both digital and print. The hero shot leads the project’s marketing, and the gallery views round out the full story.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you achieve the warm interior glow effect seen in the Frini Towers dusk render?

We place individual light sources behind each window and balance their warmth against the cool ambient dusk sky, then fine-tune exposure in post-production to ensure the illumination reads as realistic rather than uniform.

Why is an aerial perspective particularly effective for twin-tower commercial developments?

An aerial viewpoint captures the full massing relationship between both towers, the entry drive layout, and the surrounding urban context—details that ground-level shots cannot convey to planning committees or investors.

What is the typical turnaround for a commercial exterior visualization of this complexity?

A hero aerial render of this scope, including ornate facade detailing, landscaping, and environmental context, is typically delivered within 10–14 business days from confirmed briefing materials.

How do commercial real estate developers use renders like the Frini Towers visualization in their leasing process?

Developers embed these renders in pre-leasing brochures, investor decks, and municipal approval submissions to communicate design intent and projected streetscape impact before construction begins.

What makes commercial exterior visualization more demanding than residential exterior work?

Commercial exteriors require accurate depiction of larger-scale facade systems, urban surroundings, vehicular circulation, and signage zones—all elements that institutional stakeholders scrutinize for regulatory and brand compliance.
