Terms of Service
Last updated: [[CONFIRM: date of publication]]
These terms govern your use of the 3D Praxis Studio website (3dpraxisstudio.com) and the provision of our architectural visualization services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
If you have a signed project agreement or proposal with us, the terms of that agreement take precedence over these general terms in the event of any conflict.
1. About us

- Business name: 3D Praxis Studio
- Contact email: [[CONFIRM: contact email]]
- Registered address: [[CONFIRM: registered business address]]
- Governing law: [[CONFIRM: governing jurisdiction, e.g. “These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States” or “the laws of India” — choose the correct jurisdiction and confirm with legal counsel]]
2. Website use
Permitted use
You may use our website to learn about our services, view our portfolio, read our content, and contact us. You may not use the website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the website’s operation.
Intellectual property on the website
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, design, and code — is owned by 3D Praxis Studio or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without our prior written consent.
Portfolio images on this website are displayed with the permission of the respective project stakeholders. Downloading, copying, or reusing portfolio images without our written permission is prohibited.
Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, website content is provided for general information purposes and does not constitute a contractual offer. Specific project terms, pricing, and deliverables are defined in individual project proposals and agreements.
3. Services and project agreements
How engagements work
Each project is governed by a specific proposal or project agreement that we provide to you before work begins. This document will specify:
- Scope of work and deliverables (number of images, animation duration, etc.)
- Timeline and key milestones
- Pricing and payment terms
- Revision policy (number of included rounds and what each covers)
- Usage rights and licensing terms
- Confidentiality obligations
- Any project-specific terms
Work does not begin until you have approved the proposal and any required deposit has been received.
Changes to scope
If you request changes to the agreed scope during a project (e.g., additional views, design changes after a certain stage, extended modelling), we will communicate the impact on timeline and cost before proceeding. Changes are documented in writing (email or amended proposal) and require your approval.
4. Pricing, payment, and invoicing
Pricing
All pricing is quoted on a per-project basis and is confirmed in your project proposal. Indicative pricing on our website is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer.
Payment terms
[[CONFIRM: State the actual payment structure. Examples:
- “A deposit of [X]% of the project fee is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final files.”
- “Payment is structured in milestones: [X]% deposit, [X]% at draft approval, [X]% on final delivery.” This must match the Pricing page and all proposals.]]
Late payment
[[CONFIRM: State the late payment policy, e.g. “Invoices are due within [X] days of issue. Late payments may incur interest at [X]% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower. We reserve the right to suspend work on ongoing projects if invoices are overdue.”]]
Currency
[[CONFIRM: e.g. “All quotes and invoices are issued in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing.”]]
5. Revisions
[[CONFIRM: State the single, authoritative revision policy. This must be identical to what appears on the Pricing page and in project proposals. The previous website contained conflicting language (“limited” vs “unlimited” revisions). Choose one policy. Example:
“Each project includes [X] rounds of revisions. A revision round covers adjustments to camera angles, materials, lighting, furniture placement, and styling within the agreed scope. Changes that alter the fundamental scope of the project (e.g., adding new views, changing the building design, or requesting deliverable types not included in the original proposal) are treated as scope changes and quoted separately.
Additional revision rounds beyond the included [X] rounds are available at a rate of [[CONFIRM: per-round rate or ‘quoted on request’]].“]]
6. Intellectual property
Your materials
You retain full ownership of all materials you provide to us, including architectural drawings, 3D models, specifications, brand assets, and reference images. We use these solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
Our deliverables
Upon full payment of all invoiced amounts for a project, you receive a [[CONFIRM: licence type — choose one:
- “non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the final deliverables for the purposes specified in the project agreement”
- “exclusive licence to use the final deliverables for any purpose related to the project” Specify clearly what is and is not included. For example, is resale of the images to third parties permitted? Can the client use the images for projects other than the one depicted?]].
Portfolio rights
We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio, on our website, and in marketing materials, unless you have requested confidentiality in writing as part of the project agreement. If confidentiality is agreed, we will not display or reference the project publicly.
Third-party assets
Some projects may incorporate licensed third-party assets (3D models, textures, HDRI environments, stock photography). Any third-party licensing costs that are not covered by our standard asset library will be communicated to you and require your approval before purchase. Third-party assets are subject to their respective licence terms.
Source files
[[CONFIRM: State whether 3D scene files are provided to the client. Common approaches:
- “Final deliverables consist of rendered images and/or video files. 3D scene files (project files, models, textures) are not included unless explicitly agreed in the project proposal.”
- “3D scene files can be provided on request for an additional fee, subject to third-party asset licensing restrictions.”]]
7. Confidentiality
We treat all client project information, files, and business details as confidential. We will not share your project information with third parties without your prior written consent, except:
- As required by law or legal process.
- With subcontractors directly involved in delivering your project, who are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
If you require a formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA), we are happy to execute one before the project begins.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the total fees you have paid for the specific project in question.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities, whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: client-side delays in providing required materials or feedback, force majeure events, or third-party service outages.
9. Cancellation and termination
Cancellation by you
[[CONFIRM: State the cancellation policy. Example:
- “You may cancel a project at any time by written notice. If cancellation occurs before work has begun and after the deposit has been paid, we will refund [X]% of the deposit / the deposit is non-refundable.”
- “If cancellation occurs after work has begun, payment is due for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, calculated on a proportional basis against the total project fee.” This must align with any refund policy.]]
Cancellation by us
We may terminate a project if:
- Payment obligations are not met after reasonable notice.
- You do not provide required materials or feedback within [[CONFIRM: timeframe, e.g. “30 days”]] of our request, causing the project to stall.
- Continuation of the project would require us to act unlawfully.
In the event of termination by us, we will refund any payment received for work not yet completed.
10. Dispute resolution
[[CONFIRM: State the dispute resolution process, e.g. “In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through [mediation/arbitration/courts] in [jurisdiction].“]]
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to projects already governed by a signed agreement.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13. Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice, and any signed project proposal or agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and 3D Praxis Studio with respect to the subject matter herein.
